Return to the well…

…beyond the upper reaches of the Teifi and east and north of Strata Florida and Tregaron, lies the Great Desert of Wales, vast, barely inhabited moorland broken by ravines and outcrops of rocks with dark, peaty lakes. On a still winter’s day the silence is absolute; in the spring and early summer it is sweetly broken by the cries of lapwings and curlews, in whom the Welsh legends say that the spirits of witches have lodged.

“The small but perfect festival, Gwyl Ffynnon Garon…following Welsh bagpipes to dress the sacred spring in Tregaron is a highlight, but there’s also some incredible experimental, psych and weird folk music over 2 days in a beautiful little Welsh town” (Ghostorchid IG)

Tickets are now available for the weekend (cheaper) via Tregaron’s New Medical Hall & Riverbank Cafe.

Taster theme track for tonight is the rather brilliant #Peiriant
