Beyond the Species Corridor

At long last, managed to secure Alan Holmes (Circle, Faust, Ectogram, Groceries and much more) & Zoe Skoulding (acclaimed poet and with Holmes part of the Parking Non Stop) to come and play here-being Tregaron…anyone who enjoys imaginative, playful and sometimes over the edge music should come to this.

As part of the opening night of the St Caron’s Festival, sharing the bill with itdreamedtome, I think discerning Mid-Walians  are in for a real treat.

Do consider  coming a long if you’re in the area! Or visiting!

As part of the opening night we’re really excited to promote Alan Holmes and Zoe Zoë Skoulding who will be playing at the Oriel Rhian, on 4th March.
Alan Holmes and Zoë Skoulding combine found and self-generated sounds with words and vocal textures, exploring the real, imagined, human and non-human dimensions of place. Their new joint project builds on Alan’s solo creations as The Groceries, Zoë’s international practice as a poet https://www.zoeskoulding.co.uk and their previous psychogeographical explorations as Parking Non-Stop http://www.skald.omnia.co.uk
Recent work includes this https://www.plasbodfa.com/sound…/zoe-skoulding-alan-holmes haunting of an empty house, and a collaboration with a pair of gulls who nested in their garden during lockdown.
Tickets for Friday alone or all of the weekend concerts are available here: https://www.eventbrite.com/…/gwyl-ffynnon-sant-caron-st…
