Postponed- The Shining Pyramid
Dear Friends
It is with a heavy heart that I decide to cancel/postpone The Shining Pyramid.
The increased anxiety and flux of views about social distancing and the spread of the virus, the implications for performers and participants travelling from further a field and by public transport, and the uncertainty about by the time of the event what new strictures may be in place, lead me to decide to cancel now.
I would hate to be part of a process that actually led anyone to be infected, and many of you will probably like me have friends and family with auto immune or respiratory conditions which make it an even more worrying time, or increase our anxiety that it may be detrimental should we attend these kinds of events. There may be some irrationality at play-but, I think on balance with some of the recent late cancellations from a few performers (which I TOTALLY get) the proposition on offer would just not be the same.
Anyhow-a tremendous pity, but I hope we can reconvene later in the year when I hope we are out of these woods. I will stay in touch with you about that when the time is right,
